About Goldrush
Goldrush was developed by the joint apple breeding program of the Indiana, Illinois, and New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Stations, with parentage including Golden Delicious, Winesap, Rome Beauty, Melrose, and Malus floribunda for scab resistance. It is a disease-resistant, late-ripening apple recommended for Georgia growing zones 1, 2, and 3, with fruit good for fresh eating and processing that stores very well.
