About FHIA-03

Sweetheart, originally named FHIA-03, was developed by the Honduran Agricultural Research Foundation (FHIA) in 1994. It is primarily a cooking banana but may also be eaten fresh, and is resistant to Panama, Moko, and Sigatoka diseases. The pseudostem is easily identifiable by its vibrant light green color with little to no blotches.
