About Kluai namwa khom
Kluai namwa khom (ABB), commonly called Thai-banana, is a leading cultivar grown in south Florida but is highly susceptible to Panama disease. It belongs to the Pisang Awak subgroup of the ABB genome and has been evaluated for performance under Kerala conditions. It is a dwarf variety with a shorter crop duration than other local cultivars, suited for dessert use and for making banana fig.
