About Bonita

Bonita is a rabbiteye blueberry cultivar released by the University of Florida IFAS blueberry breeding program in 1985, with a fairly vigorous growth habit and medium lateral spread. Plant Patent #4724 was granted for the cultivar on 26 May 1981. It was developed for regions with mild winter temperatures such as Florida and is useful for extending the rabbiteye harvest season.
