About Camellia

Camellia was selected in 1996 at the Coastal Plain Experiment Station in Tifton, Georgia, by the University of Georgia, and released in 2005. It is known for uniformly large, sweet fruit and a vigorous bush, and is recommended as a mid-season southern highbush variety. The plant habit is upright, with narrow crowns and strong canes.
