About Palmetto

Palmetto was selected in 1985 at the Coastal Plain Experiment Station in Tifton, Georgia, tested as TH-471, and released jointly by the University of Georgia and USDA-ARS in 2003; it is patented (PP17656). It is a southern highbush blueberry recommended by UGA for early season production.
