Black Gold Cherry

Black Gold is a self-fertile dark sweet cherry from Cornell University, notable as the latest-blooming cherry in its collection and therefore remarkably good at escaping spring frost. Its moderately large, dark red, heart-shaped fruit is firm and well suited to fresh eating. Productive and cold-hardy, it is well adapted to eastern North America.
