White Swan

White Swan is a classic, seed-grown white form of the purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), long valued as an easy and dependable white-flowered perennial. An upright, branching plant, it bears summer flowers of creamy-white rays surrounding a coppery orange-brown central cone. It is raised from seed for full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, blooming through summer and attracting bees and butterflies. Deadhead for a tidy look or leave the cones standing to feed birds and add winter structure.
