About Adriatic
Adriatic (also called White Adriatic or Grosse Verte) most likely originated in Italy or countries surrounding the Adriatic Sea and has been grown in California since the late 1800s. It produces a turbinate fig, above medium in size, with green to yellowish-green skin and red pulp, of distinctive flavor and very good quality. It ripens late and does not require pollination.
