About Ventura
Ventura, also known as Verdal louange, is an adriatic-type fig that produces a large, green fruit with a long neck and deep red, excellent-flavored pulp. Fruit ripens from August to September, or as early as early to mid-September in USDA zone 7a, and may be eaten fresh or preserved.
