About Daytona
Daytona is a pink bunch grape bred in Florida, released in the early 1980s by Mortenson and Stover; stock plants and cuttings were distributed to nurseries in early 1983. It is a table grape for Florida homeowners, well adapted to the heat and humidity of the Gulf Coast area, though its yields have been generally too low for recommending it as a commercial cultivar.
