About Delaware

Delaware is an American grape released in 1849 by A. Thompson and P. Provost, with Labrusca x aestivalis x vinifera parentage. It produces small but sweet, reddish to dark pink fruit used for both table and wine purposes, and is recommended for good red wine production. For best results it should be grafted onto Dog Ridge or similar rootstock.
