Ison

Ison is a self-fertile muscadine cultivar bred from the pedigree 'Sugar Gate' x 'Senoia'. It produces a moderate to large, black grape used as a combination juice and fresh-market cultivar. Harvest is early and vine vigor is high, with yields said to be high; the cultivar may also be a good pollenizer choice.
