About Jupiter
Jupiter is a seedless grape introduced by the University of Arkansas breeding program, patented in 1998, with the patent lapsing in 2019. It is a cross of Arkansas 1258 and Arkansas 1762, both Vitis labrusca x Vitis vinifera hybrids. The vine is self-fertile and hardy to at least -10 F, with further cold hardiness under evaluation, and can be grown successfully in climates as different as the South and the Pacific Northwest.
