About Marquette

Marquette is a cold-hardy red wine grape from the University of Minnesota (released 2006), a cousin of Frontenac and a grandson of Pinot Noir. Its complex wines of cherry, black currant, pepper and spice are considered among the closest hybrid approximations of vinifera. A vigorous, disease-resistant vine for cold climates.
