About Globe

Globe jujube originated in Henan Province, China, and was imported to the United States by Roger Meyer in the 1990s. It produces uniform, globose fruit weighing about 25 g, with medium-thick, dark red skin and thick, firm, sweet flesh with little juice. It is well suited for drying rather than fresh use; yield is medium, and it can suffer from preharvest fruit drop.
