About Yazoo Li

Yazoo Li is believed to be a seedling of 'Li', found growing naturalized in Yazoo City, Mississippi. It produces exceptionally large fruit with better flavor than 'Li', on a very vigorous, upright growing tree. It ripens early, usually around late August in Mississippi, and is a heavy producer. The fruit is used fresh.
