Late Wild

Late Wild is one of the main named jambolan cultivars. The jambolan is native to India, Burma, Ceylon, and the Andaman Islands. The tree is also valued in apiculture, and fruit of good size and quality, with a sweet or subacid flavor and minimal astringency, is eaten raw or made into tarts, sauces, and jam.
