About Pharenda

Pharenda is one of the main named jambolan cultivars, along with Early Wild and Late Wild. The jambolan is native to India, Burma, Ceylon, and the Andaman Islands. Fruit of good size and quality, with a sweet or subacid flavor and minimal astringency, is eaten raw or made into tarts, sauces, and jam.
