About Thursby

Thursby was selected by Isabel Thursby of Orange City, Florida and introduced by TREC in 1949. It has thick, leathery, dark yellow to orange skin, dark yellow pulp, and two to three seeds. UF/IFAS trials rated it recommended, producing small to medium, pear-shaped fruit.
