Emerald Green

Emerald Green Velvet Okra is an heirloom, open-pollinated variety dating back to the 1950s, originally introduced by the Campbell's Soup Company. It produces long, ribbed, dark green pods that stay tender at longer lengths than many other varieties, and is a favorite in Louisiana, appearing in a wide range of Cajun dishes.
