About Lee
Lee is a hybrid of Clementine mandarin and Orlando tangelo, one of three cultivars (Lee, Osceola, Robinson) resulting from a cross made by Gardner and Bellows of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Florida in 1942 and released in 1959. It is one of the early-season (October to November) tangerine hybrids that could be grown.
