About Redtop

Redtop was released by the USDA in May 1961 after being grown and selected at Fresno, California, in cooperation with the Fresno State College Foundation, and tested mainly in California. It is a promising fresh market variety for long-distance shipment. The tree is willowy, and ripe fruit hangs on the tree for up to 10 days.
