UFO

UFO is a non-melting-flesh, peento-type peach with a distinctive donut shape, patented in 2002. Trees are large, vigorous, and semi-upright, producing moderately heavy crops of large, firm, yellow-flesh fruit with semi-freestone pits. The fruit development period is 95 days, and the skin develops 50-70% blush. UFO is particularly susceptible to ethylene released during dormant pruning, which can cause significant flower bud abortion, so pruning is recommended only during summer.
