Blakes Pride

Blakes Pride is a highly fire-blight-resistant dessert pear from the USDA and Ohio State (released 1998), often recommended for gardeners who have battled the disease. The large, yellow-skinned fruit is sweet and juicy with a buttery, Comice-like texture. It is also heat-tolerant and stores for months.
