About Pawnee
Pawnee is a cross of Mohawk and Starking Hardy Giant, bred by the United States Department of Agriculture in 1963 and released in 1984. It is one of the most widely planted pecan varieties in North America and is prized for its early harvest, heavy production, and nut quality. It produces large buttery fruits with thin shells that mature in early September.
