pubescens

The pubescens variety of common persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) has fuzzy leaves and twigs. Common persimmon is troubled by a leaf-spot disease that may limit its use in the South, and it is also susceptible to a vascular wilt that can be devastating to established trees.
