Yamato Hyakume

Yamato Hyakume is a Japanese persimmon (Diospyros kaki) that is large, with red skin, and has little tannin when seed content is low, though it tends to growth-ring cracking. It is a heavy annual bearer in Florida, with good fall leaf retention. It is a pollination variant type, but does not develop a great deal of dark flesh around the seeds.
