About ICEAP 00040
ICEAP 00040 is a long-duration ICRISAT pigeonpea selected for Eastern and Southern Africa and released across several countries in the region, where its late maturity matches the traditional local landraces that ripen on residual dry-season moisture. Prized for its large seed and adaptation to long-season, rainfed African cropping, it is one of the older improved African releases.
