About Michigan Purple
Michigan Purple was developed by Dr. David Douches at Michigan State University and the Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station, from a cross between W870 and Maris Piper. Plant variety protection was in application. It is a purple-skinned tablestock variety with brilliant white flesh that does not darken after cooking.
