About Viridapice

Viridapice is a snowdrop cultivar distinguished by green shading at the tips of its white outer flower segments, as well as green marks on the inner segments. The RHS describes plants reaching about 15 cm, with narrow grey-green foliage and fragrant, nodding flowers about 2.5 cm long, carried beneath an elongated spathe that may split. Its UK cultivation guidance recommends partial shade and humus-rich soil that drains well but retains moisture through summer. Divide after the foliage dies back to maintain the cultivar; seedlings may differ from the parent. Harmful if eaten by people, dogs or cats; wear gloves when handling.
