About Connecticut Field

Connecticut Field is an heirloom pumpkin grown for hundreds of years by Native Americans and New England settlers. It is the standard general-purpose large Halloween pumpkin, used more than any other variety for carving into a jack-o-lantern, and is also used for pies, canning, and stock feed. Fruits have a hard orange, smooth, slightly ribbed skin and weigh 15 to 20 lbs.
