About Festival

This clone was named Strawberry Festival in recognition of the Florida Strawberry Festival, an annual festival in Plant City that celebrates the abundant crop of berries harvested in eastern Hillsborough County during late February and early March. It was released under U.S. Patent PP14,739 in 2000. Festival is named a 2018 Texas Superstar plant and is considered ideal for growing in the Coastal South and tropical regions of the country, including in containers, strawberry towers, and raised beds.
