About Illustris

Illustris, or imperial taro, is an ornamental Colocasia grown for its dramatic dark-veined green leaves, a favorite for tropical bedding, pond margins, and containers. It is not grown for food, and its raw foliage is toxic if eaten. A vigorous warm-season foliage plant.
