About Coleman

Coleman was one of the first white sapote cultivars named in California. The fruit is oblate, somewhat lobed, and furrowed at the apex, up to 3 in (7.5 cm) wide, with yellow-green skin. Fruit ripens from late fall to summer. The tree is somewhat dwarf, with small leaflets that tend to twist, and is difficult to propagate.
