Golden

Golden, also known as Max Golden, originated in California. The white sapote species is native to central Mexico and is a relative of citrus. Golden is a woolly-leaved cultivar with conical fruit, depressed at the apex, up to 4 1/2 inches (11.25 cm) wide and weighing 4 to 5 ounces (118 to 148 grams). Its skin is yellow-green and fairly tough, with creamy white flesh that has a strong flavor and some bitterness, and few seeds.
