About Maltby

Maltby, also called Nancy Maltby, originated in Carlsbad, California, bred by Guy Maltby in 1928. Fruit grows to one pound, with smooth yellow-green skin and yellow flesh, and has good but slightly bitter flavor that varies by season. The tree bears well and is productive. It is more frequently found in Florida and considered obsolete in California.
