About Dorsett Golden
Originates from Nassau, New Providence Island, Bahamas, developed by Mrs Dorsett and introduced in 1954. Probably a seedling of 'Golden Delicious'. A low-chill-hour apple suitable for warm, southern climates, extremely precocious and starting to fruit in its second year.
