About Liberty
Liberty is a disease-resistant apple developed at Cornell's Geneva station and released in 1978, immune to apple scab and a favorite for low-spray growers. The red-over-yellow fruit is crisp and juicy with a bright, McIntosh-like sweet-tart flavor, good both fresh and cooked. A midseason to late apple.
