About Goldfinger Banana
Goldfinger (FHIA-01) is a disease-resistant dessert banana bred in Honduras at the FHIA program and released in 1988. Its slightly sub-acid, refreshing fruit and its resistance to Panama disease and black Sigatoka have made it a favorite for low-spray backyard growing. Cold- and wind-tolerant, it actually fruits best in subtropical rather than fully tropical conditions.
