O'Neal

O'Neal is an early-season southern highbush blueberry released by North Carolina State University in 1987, valued for its low chilling requirement and outstanding flavor. It suits mild-winter regions where northern highbush types fail, producing large, sweet, aromatic berries early in the season. The vigorous, somewhat spreading bushes bloom early, so late-frost protection helps in cooler areas.
