Dormanred

Dormanred is a trailing red raspberry cultivar developed as a new variety for Mississippi. Its fruit has a glossy, deep red color and must be very ripe to be sweet; it is a good producer statewide and is considered better cooked than fresh, making good jam and pies. This cultivar is well adapted in Mississippi and is recommended for trial in home gardens there and in neighboring states with similar climatic conditions.
