Ruby Supreme

Ruby Supreme is one of the most popular pink-fleshed guava cultivars grown in Florida and other subtropical regions. It produces medium to large round fruit with thin greenish-yellow skin and sweet, aromatic salmon-pink flesh that is smooth and relatively low in seeds. Selected for dependable heavy production and good eating quality, Ruby Supreme is used fresh, in juices, jellies, and purees. The tree is vigorous and can begin fruiting young, often bearing multiple crops per year in frost-free climates. Its rich, tropical, musky-sweet flavor makes it a favorite for home orchards and small farms. As a fast-growing, high-yielding subtropical fruit tree, it fits well into permaculture food forests in warm regions.
