Goldfinger

Goldfinger is a compact Mexican sunflower (Tithonia) with uniform, upright plants around 3 to 4 feet tall carrying bright orange blooms 3 to 4 inches across, as showy as the classic Torch but on a more manageable frame. Easy from seed in warm soil, it is heat- and drought-tolerant and flowers profusely through the warm season. Its shorter stature suits smaller gardens and needs less support than the tall types. A butterfly and bee favorite in full sun.
