About Yellow Torch

Yellow Torch is a golden-flowered Mexican sunflower (Tithonia), a tall annual reaching about 6 feet and covered in gold to apricot-orange daisy blooms from midsummer until hard frost. It brings the same heat- and drought-tolerant vigor and pollinator appeal as orange Torch but in a warmer yellow tone. Give it full sun and average soil, sturdy support at planting, and regular deadheading to prolong the long display. A striking cut flower and back-of-border plant.
