About Pendolino
Pendolino is a Tuscan olive cultivar from central Italy, named for its pendulous, weeping branching habit. It produces small to medium olives primarily used for oil, with a light, delicate quality. The tree is cold hardy and not self-fertile, requiring pollinizers such as Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, or Maurino, and is incompatible with Kalamata, Pendolino, and Picual. It is also known as a great pollinator due to its abundant flowering, effective for other olive varieties planted within 20 to 30 feet.
