About Frederick
Frederick is a large, vigorous purple-fruited passionfruit developed in California and valued as a reliable, comparatively cold-tolerant home-garden vine. Its big, plump fruit is filled with tangy, aromatic orange pulp that leans more tart than sweet, excellent for juice and desserts, and the self-fertile vine crops heavily. A popular backyard choice in mild-winter regions.
