Desirable

Desirable is a pecan cultivar from a cross of Success and Jewett, averaging 48 nuts per pound and 51 percent kernel with a scab rating of 4 and a harvest date around October 14. It is extremely susceptible to pecan scab, and in most years this disease will wipe out an unsprayed tree.
